I'm a sound recordist and sound designer, co-founder of Aldergrove Studios and occasional guest tutor for GFS sound workshops. I started out in music recording and production at SAE before branching over to film sound doing a degree at GFS. Since then, I've acquired 2 degrees in audio and film production and have worked on numerous projects from short films, features, corporate videos, TVC's and web series. I'm currently working on several independent features doing all of the post audio (apart from the music). I also work as the Print Mover / Technical Coordinator for BIFF (Brisbane International Film Festival) and VSOFF (Vision Splendid Outback Film Festival).
When I did the Kolperi course in 2016 it was still in its infancy. It was a really fun experience and gave me a good degree of resilience to work under pressure and adapt to changing and chaotic situations on set as well as building a lifelong group of friends and creative collaborators. It also opened a number of work opportunities where I've been operating the projection and content management for the Vision Splendid Outback Film Festival out in Winton.
